Join the IOW Stays Photo Challenges
Our photo challenges are becoming a popular part of the IOW Stays community, giving guests and island visitors a fun way to explore the Isle of Wight while capturing its unique character.
Each challenge focuses on a different theme inspired by the island. Recent themes have included reflections, woodland paths, silhouettes, seaside piers, winter frost, and historic shop signs. Every theme encourages participants to look at familiar places from a new angle and share their own perspective of the island.
The challenges are open to everyone. Guests, residents, and visitors all take part by submitting photos taken anywhere on the Isle of Wight. You do not need professional equipment. A mobile phone photo is perfect. The focus is creativity and enjoyment rather than technical skill.
Selected entries are featured across our website, newsletters, and social media channels, helping showcase the island through real experiences and real moments.
Photo challenges also help future visitors see what makes the Isle of Wight special throughout the seasons, from quiet winter walks to busy summer seafronts.
