Cooking and Odours
Strong Odour Policy
Please avoid cooking strong smelling foods such as curries or fried fish inside the caravan.
Persistent cooking smells affect future guests.
A £50 deep cleaning fee applies if additional cleaning is required due to odours. Repeated breaches result in removal from the park.

Extra Information
Oil filled radiators are provided. Use responsibly and reduce heating when leaving the caravan.
Appliance guides and general information are available at www.iowstays.co.uk or via the QR code inside the caravan.
The caravan operates on low electrical amperage. Limit the number of high power appliances used at one time.
All complaints must be submitted in writing to park reception.
Log out of all streaming services before departure. IOW Stays accepts no responsibility for purchases made on accounts left signed in.
Ensure all personal belongings are taken with you on departure. IOW Stays accepts no responsibility for items left behind.

Park Rules & Behaviour

  • You are staying at Lower Hyde Holiday Park and must follow all park rules.
  • Guests must behave respectfully toward other holidaymakers, owners, neighbors, and park staff.
  • Any behavior causing disturbance, discomfort, or safety concerns results in removal from the park without refund.
  • Antisocial behavior, including loud music, offensive language, or disruptive conduct, is not tolerated.
  • Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 8:00am. Keep noise low during this time.
  • Illegal activities are reported to authorities and offenders removed from the park.
  • You remain responsible for the behavior of everyone in your group.

Children & Safety

  • Children remain the responsibility of a parent or guardian and require supervision at all times.
  • Swimming facilities operate under park rules.
  • Follow all safety guidance displayed onsite.
  • In case of fire, evacuate the caravan immediately, call 999, and proceed to the nearest muster point shown on the park map.

Vehicle & Road Use

  • The park speed limit is 10 mph. Pedestrians always have priority.
  • Only approved vehicles are allowed on park roads under park regulations.
  • Mini bikes, electric scooters, hoverboards, Segways, or similar vehicles are not permitted.
  • Do not park on grass areas. Please use the designated parking space provided.

Dogs & Pets

  • Dogs must remain on a lead at all times around the park.
  • Banned breeds under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted.
  • Do not allow dogs on beds or furniture or inside bedrooms.
  • All dog waste, including on decking areas, must be cleaned and disposed of correctly.
  • A £50 fine applies for non compliance.
  • Dogs must not remain unattended inside the caravan.

Use of the Caravan

  • No smoking inside the caravan or on the decking or any Park Dean building. This includes vaping.
  • Fire pits or open flames are not permitted on decking or nearby grass areas.
  • Do not use washing lines anywhere on the park. Laundry facilities are available onsite.
  • Keep the surrounding area tidy and free from rubbish.
  • Do not flush wipes, sanitary products, cotton buds, or similar items down the toilet. A £250 fee applies for blocked pipes.
  • Please rinse off sand before using the shower where possible.

    To maintain a pleasant environment for all guests, please avoid cooking strong-smelling or spicy foods (e.g. curries, fried fish) inside the caravan. These smells can linger and affect future guests.
  • A £50 deep-cleaning fee will be charged if the caravan requires extra cleaning due to lingering odours. Continued or severe breaches may result in you being asked to leave.

  • Two oil-filled radiators are available. Please use them responsibly and reduce central heating when not in the caravan.
  • Appliances and general info can be found at www.iowstays.co.uk – or scan the QR code in the caravan.
  • Please remember that our caravans are on a low amperage so be mindful of the amount of appliances used at any one time.
  • All guest complaints must be made in writing and submitted to reception.
  • Please, log out of all media streaming accounts before you leave. IOW Stays or the owners do not take any responsibility for any purchases made on any account left on.
  • Please ensure all property is taken with you when you leave. IOW Stays or the owners do not take any responsibility for any property left behind.
